The site of bleeding is still no definite. For this reason a repeat bronchoscopy in an attempt to identify a bleeding site is appropriate. Most would begin empiric antibiotics pending cultures since bleeding often results from bronchitis (1).

 

The repeat bronchoscopy shows blood coming from the left lower lobe (Figure 6).
